Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the removal services provided by Simpsons Removals.

1. Quotations

All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer. If the actual volume or circumstances differ from those described, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
  • Full payment is due on completion of the move
  • We accept cash, card, and bank transfer
  • Cancellation fees may apply for late cancellations

3. Insurance & Liability

All moves are covered by our comprehensive insurance policy. However, customers are advised to:

  • Declare any high-value items in advance
  • Ensure items are adequately packed (if self-packing)
  • Report any damage within 7 days of delivery

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring access is available at both properties
  • Disconnecting and preparing appliances
  • Informing us of any access restrictions
  • Securing parking for removal vehicles where possible

5. Excluded Items

We cannot transport hazardous materials, illegal items, perishable goods, or items of extraordinary value without prior arrangement.

6. Delays & Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, or access issues.

7. Disputes

Any disputes will be handled through our complaints procedure. If unresolved, matters may be referred to the relevant ombudsman service.
